Impact Sunday
Beginning Sunday, April 26, through August 16, we’re raising $45,000 to support our Student Summer Missions. This includes our 37th consecutive trip to Crossville, TN with our high school students, our middle school mission trip heading to San Antonio, TX, as well as our junior and senior high choir tours and VBS!
We accept cash, check, or credit card.

Rising from the remnants of an old tire shop, The Wheelhouse now stands proudly at the heart of Plano, Texas. It acts as a dynamic catalyst for change, orchestrating and empowering a multitude of local missions aimed at addressing the diverse needs of the community and extending its impact far beyond.
Our Missions Partners
Bed Start
Bed Start helps families in poverty, crisis and/or need by providing household furnishings at NO COST! Anyone can help by donating time, talents, financial support and gently used furniture. Regardless of your activity level, Bed Start could use the help.

Pick-up trucks/trailers are helpful, but not required.
Plain-O Helpers
Seniors serving seniors handyman program. Volunteers provide minor home maintenance and repair services with a key focus on safety issues in the home, at no charge. They focus on seniors, age 60 and older and others with special needs within the Plano community.
Donations are welcome to offset the cost of materials and help others who are less fortunate. Larger projects are done on Fridays, with smaller tasks completed throughout the week.
Summer Lunch Program
We’re excited to kick off another summer of food, fun, and fellowship!
Location: Christie Elementary School, Plano ISD, will provide meals for children, while Custer Road UMC will serve lunch for adults, along with ice-cold water, popsicles, weekend food bags, and plenty of summer fun with table-top activities, games, and books!

Days: Monday – Friday
Time: 11:45 am – 1:00 pm

People Who Love People
People Who Love People is a ministry dedicated to serving the homeless and food-insecure in our community. Each week, volunteers gather in the parking lot of God’s Pantry, 1896 K Avenue, Unit 200 in Plano, to offer food, care, and compassion to those in need.
