Dear Custer Road Church Family,
As we begin this new year, I am filled with gratitude for the journey we share in faith and community. Over the years, we’ve witnessed God’s blessings, faced challenges together, and grown as a spiritual family. Our church is a testament to our collective faith, love, and commitment to Christ.
This brings us to an exciting opportunity: our Annual Stewardship Campaign. This campaign calls us to invest in our church’s future, equipping us to continue being a place of worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth for generations to come. The resources below are here to help guide your prayerful decision.
We invite you to return your completed pledge card during worship on Sunday, February 2nd. If you are unable to return your pledge card in person, please click on the link above to fill out an online pledge card. Your commitment is vital as we plan for the year ahead and continue helping people experience the love of Jesus.
As 2 Corinthians 9:7 reminds us, “God loves a cheerful giver.” Let us come together with joyful hearts, knowing that our collective generosity will bless countless lives and further God’s kingdom.

An Approach to Giving
BEGIN WITH PRAYER
Thank God for your blessings and ask for guidance and discernment.
ASSESS YOUR INCOME AND GIVING
Determine your current giving as a percentage of your income using the Steps to Giving chart.
SET YOUR GIVING GOAL
If you are not currently giving, start with a low percentage of your annual income and then plan to increase the percentage each year, growing your annual giving. The important thing is to begin the spiritual discipline of regular, consistent giving.
DETERMINE YOUR GIVING METHOD
Take a look at the ways to give and select the option that is best for you and the church.
WORSHIP WITH ABUNDANCE
Fill out your 2025 pledge card and return it in worship on February 2. As a congregation, we will express our gratitude to God and present our cards, representing our commitment to God’s ministry through our church.

IN PERSON
Place gifts in the offering plate during worship, leave gifts in the offering boxes, or drop gifts off at the church office during the week.
ONLINE
Give Online HERE where you will be prompted to choose your giving method and complete your transaction online.
ENDOWMENT
Request information HERE about Custer Road UMC’s Permanent Endowment and/or how to provide for the church in your estate.
Steps to Giving
STEP 1
Commit to increasing your giving by 1% to 3% of your income, as you move toward the goal tithing 10%. Then fill out and return your 2024 Pledge Card.
STEP 2
If you are not regularly giving to Custer Road UMC, make a commitment to giving at least $5 per week ($20 per month) and return a 2024 pledge card.
STEP 3
If you are currently tithing 10% of your income, thank you for your faithfulness! Please return your 2024 pledge card and prayerfully consider increasing your gift to help Custer Road UMC pursue the opportunities before us.
