The Book of Acts, often referred to as “The Acts of the Apostles,” is the fifth book of the New Testament and serves as a sequel to the Gospel of Luke. It is attributed to Luke the Evangelist and details the early history of the Christian church, beginning from the ascension of Jesus Christ though the missionary activities of the Apostle Paul. Acts provides a narrative of how the early church grew from a small group of Jewish believers in Jerusalem to a worldwide movement encompassing Jews and Gentiles alike.
